One of the first things you will realize is the endless amount of freedom you have as an entrepreneur.  You have the ability to get into anything you want, take your business in whatever direction you choose to, and work whatever hours you want.  Instead of wasting your time on a project you feel will not better the business, you can choose exactly what you want to do with your business.

5. Family time
The last benefit of having a home based business is that you can finally spend more time with the family.  Because you are the boss and can create whatever kind of a schedule you want, you can create time for your family.  This means taking more vacations, going to your kids’ extracurricular activities, and taking the spouse out on a romantic evening.
