Attracting traffic to your blog or a web site can be very challenging. From the very start, when you see visitors coming to read your blog, you need to be sure that they feel comfortable and want to stick around. There are a number of ways that you can do just that.
Here are seven important ingredients for building a successful blog with a loyal following.
1. Publish to your blog regularly
As readers become more familiar with the regularity of your blog posts it will affect their behavior for visiting your blog. If visitors know that you post fresh content every day, they will probably visit every day to read new posts. If they know you post 3 times a week on certain days they will start visiting on those days.
2.Use meaningful Post Titles
This announces clearly what a post is about. It will also help people navigate your blog.It will also influence your search engine rankings.
3. Don’t wonder-stay on topic
Stick to a niche. If your blog doesn’t have a particular niche, give it one. Readers like a blog that is focused on one theme. If you don’t have a theme and post about just anything your readers are less likely to become passionate about your blog and will probably move on to a more focused blog that fits there needs.
4.Highlight your best posts
You do not want your best posts to lost in the archives. It would be a good idea to link tothe best posta from a ‘best posts’ category listed on your main page.
5. Have good reader inter-action
Try to think of your blog like a conversation. When you post your readers commentBe active and be positive as you interact and converse with with your readers.
