The more often you post content to your blog, the more often your blog will be crawled by the search engines and you’ll be rewarded with a higher page rank and more traffic. One word of warning, don’t fall into the trap of thinking that if one is good 15 must be better.  If you post too many times in a day, the search engines will think that your not building your site in a ‘natural’ way and they will penalize you for it. 

Some people follow this rule of thumb. Make one post to your blog everyday for 21 days, don’t know why the 21 days, except it seems to be the magic number. After the first 21 days you can post to your blog three or four times perweek. If you want you can still continue with posting one per day.

2. Write Artticles That Will Direct People To Your Blog

You can use the free Google keyword tool to target the types of keyword phrases people are using to find your blog, then write quality articles using that keyword, then submit your article for free to article directories like EzineArticles.com

3. Learn About Search Engine Optimization

If you will learn a little bit about search engine optimization (SEO) you can then start using those techniques on your blog. This will make your website stand out to the search engines. You don’t have to worry about knowing everything there is to know about seo, just some basic concepts will make a huge difference.

4. Visit Other Blogs

You can visit other blogs and leave a comment with a link back to your site. This will not only show people that you are an expert in your field, but they will also be interested in checking out your blog to find out more of what you have to say, providing you leave insightful, interesting comments.

These methods will help you increase blog traffic and they are the easiest methods that you will find. Do not waste a bunch of money on expensive pay per click campaigns when you can have even better results just by investing a little time.
